Another guest in the hotel who was apparently mentally disabled tried to break into our room. We were on the line with 911 dispatch for 5 minutes before the woman's caretakers came and got her. The hotel owner refused to comp us for the night. He was very nonchalant about the attempted attack. Worst hotel experience of my life. more

The Malibu Beach Inn was the best place to stay in Malibu - hands down. Location was excellent, the hotel was immaculate, and the beach was legendary. Staying here fulfilled all of my Malibu Ken fantasies on a reasonable budget, and made me feel every inch of the movie star. more
