This property is in a lovely, scenic & convenient location, right on the beach, in Malibu.
The staff are helpful and accommodating. There is coffee in the morning & dolphin, seal & shore birds at different times if the day.
Enjoy the beach!

First time I visited was 45 years ago and I try to stay here whenever I visit L.A. This is a nostalgic little no-tell motel right on the water with a vintage understated style. The beach view rooms on the ground floor have the balcony reaching over the sand, so you can enjoy the waves and salt air whether you...

This review is so overdue! We stayed here in April 2010 and still can't forget it. We had a room right on the beach front and could hear the waves as we fell asleep (there is a small window to open for just this reason). Wonderful breakfast of croissants and juice, lovely beach with no one on it, and the...

The hotel offers some great views of the ocean and a nice garden, but it's not worth the expense. It's far from "paradise".
Staying at this beach hotel in Malibu may seem like a good idea, but you should keep a few things in mind before booking:

There's nothing better than watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The staff at Casa Malibu are great, the accomodations are "key west" cool and the continential breakfast is first rate. The sun deck is the perfect spot to start your day with coffee and fabulous muffins. Love this place in the heart of Malibu. Price is very reasonable.

After checking in, we sat down on the deck and took a few minutes to relax and watch the dolphins swim straight past this wonderful hotel.
Whilst the rooms are more motel than hotel, the staff are probably the nicest of anywhere that we stayed during our three weeks tour of California. Their advice for restaurants and local services was...

We stayed here for 1 night on Thursday 15th September, we had previously visited San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Santa Barbara and this was a chance to relax before moving onto to Las Vegas. Our friend had visited Casa Malibu the year before so we visited on her recommendation. It certainly lived up to all our expectations. We had a...

Inn was in a great location. Outdoor patio area was nice. Very expensive for what You get. Room was simple but fine for a night or two.

This hotel is our favorite spot in the world to relax! Whether lounging on the beach, our private balcony, or the main deck, it's all peace and harmony. You feel as if you're on your own private island but in fact are minutes away from the heart of Malibu and Santa Monica. We didn't need air conditioning and it was...
