This place is very friendly, and nice all around. It's right on the beach, and also close to LAX. The decor is a bit hokey and old-fashioned - reminds me of houses in surburban Cleveland in the '80's, where I grew up. I especially liked their free pick-up and drop-off service to/from LAX. more

We stayed at the Foghorn for 5 nights in March 2008. Previous reviews were spot-on: clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, comfortable beds, excellent service. Microwave/refrigerator/LCD TV. The continental breakfast was nicely organized and very good. The PC in the lobby was free of viruses/spyware (they were running Norton) with a functioning printer -great for Mapquest. Look forward to staying there again. more

The Foghorn is a friendly, relaxed and convenient place to base yourself in the Marina del Ray / Venice Beach area. We stay here a couple of times a year, flying over from the UK so the shuttle service is a real plus. The location is the strong point with views of the Marina, easy walking distance to Venice Pier... more

The Foghorn Harbor Inn is a nice little Hotel in Marina del Rey. Ok, the furnitures are not really up to date and look a little bit old and worn out, but the room was spacious and clean. The Bathroom was simple but looked newly renovated and most important was clean. The lady at the Front Desk was extremly nice... more

stayed at th Foghorn on are return from New Zealand in March had a great stay ,We payed cash when we left to get rid of are dollers, When we got home they had taken it out of are bank as well we are still trying to get a refund.This has spoilt the whole trip for us. Mrs A Allcorn more

Very nice, refurbished hotel with very tasty continental breakfast (corn flakes, cheese, eggs etc) served on a ground floor on a hotel with terrace overlooking Marina and beach.
