What a wonderful B&B in Mariposa. Joyce and Ace were so nice and helped us before and after our arrival - with oodles of local / california state knowledge. We were sorry to stay only one night. The room was huge with great beds and fantastic bathroom - a great family room with access to the wonderful deck. Breakfast was amazing and kept us going all day. A must B&B for independent travellers you won't be disapointed. more

The Ashworth House is a wonderful B&B just 3 miles from Mariposa. It's super quiet and peaceful. Ace and Joyce can't do enough for their guests--wonderful breakfasts, lots of recommendations for restaurants, Yosemite, and other things in the area. We had the largest room, which has its own private access to the large deck overlooking the countryside. The rate was $109, but there is a 10% discount if you stay 3 nights or more. An added bonus--Joyce has a large lavender garden, and she sells the flowers and dried potpurri made from it. Highly recommended!
