This is outside the Park and a good choice bearing in mind the detours at the time to avoid the fires. The rooms are of a cabin sort of nature, clean but a little bit dated in decor. My wife & I stopped here for 2 nights, so that we could visit Yosemite National Park, prior to going on to Las Vegas.This B & B is in a lovely peaceful setting about a 45 minute drive to the Park. This motel does not qualify as a Bed and Breakfast....a pot of weak coffee,( no decaf ), a few cold bagels, a plastic fork. The Red Roof does a better job. The woman running it is loud and crude. NOT WORTH IT!!! My girlfriend and I really enjoy traveling to Yosemite. The trip is always about the park and little thought is put into the place we stay since we won't actually be there very much. When we checked in, the innkeeper was pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was adequate (cereal, fruit, English muffins, bagels, assorted breads, hard boiled eggs). We were there only two nights. I stayed at LVI for a week and totally enjoyed every minute. The owner, Christine, was there to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The daily breakfast was delicious, especially the home-made muffins. And don't foget to ask for any home-made peach jam for sale...it was scrumptious and made by her mom. A little off the beaten way but well worth it. Between Oakhurst and Mariposa Little Valley is so peaceful and a great way to end a busy day. The breakfasts were delightful and the owner incredibly helpful with local information as well as for Yosemite. more

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very pleasant and smiling Inn Keeper, Christine. She not only provided us with wonderful hospitality, but served as a travel guide as to what to do in Yosemite and where to eat locally.
