45 minutes from yosemite valley.Mariposa is great old gold mining town.. Funky shops, great eats, fun little bars. All walking distance from motel. Stayed 2 nights. Big clean room. Comfortable bed. Traffic noise in the morning as we were facing the road - it's quieter facing the back. We booked this on basis of it being "near" Yosemite but it is a good hour to the south entrance so 2 hours to the village. Overall, you're gonna pay too much for this room ... you're paying for the location. But the big problem here was mold & mildew. this hotel is located in Mariposa...about 1 hour away from the entrance to Yosemite...clean hotel room...friendly ladies at the check in ...helpful with getting around the town....I would recommend this hotel to travelers....they have a pool, but it is very very small and it gets crowded in the late afternoon when people come back from the park...also...pool is located on... more
