I have stayed in many of the places in Mt Shasta and McCloud over the years and the McCloud Mercantile Hotel is by far the best. I finally found a great pleace to comfortably recommend to others. more

We arrived late, without a reservation but were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. Because we did not have a reservation we stayed in one room the first night and a different room the second night. Both rooms were better than the photos; they are very spacious and the bedding is first class. Breakfast was great. more
