Official Description (provided by the hotel):: Our 8 romantic cottages and 2 rooms feature K or Q feather beds,sherry, fireplaces,ocean views, private decks, TV, HBO and wireless internet. The private baths are complete with luxury robes and amenities, most have spa tubs. A thoughtfully prepared breakfast is served in the breakfast room where you can choose a table for two and watch the ocean surf. Our guest services room has movies, hot beverages, ice machine, books, C.D.'s, popcorn, all available 24 hours a day. The garden's Adirondack chairs provide a front row seat for spectacular sunsets, whale and wave watching. The inn's gardens have color year round. A fabulous location and view! Breakfast was excellent. However, the "Ruby" Room should be avoided. It was the last available and is not on the website....for a reason. The bathroom looks charming and well-equipped but the bathtub surround does not allow drainage when the shower is used. The sour "standing-water" smell was not good. I could not enjoy the big... “Very Nice Inn in a Beautiful Location”

Stayed just one night on a drive from Seattle to San Francisco, but would definitely go back. Beautiful location, well maintained rooms, friendly service and an excellent breakfast. It is a short walk into town on a road without sidewalks which may be of concern to some people, but the location and view offset the minimal inconvenience.

“Like being a member of the family”

This is our "home" in Mendocino. Laraine and Roger make us feel like members of their family --- actually more like Royal Members of their family considering the breakfasts and care that they provide. The views are outstanding, and the hammock, swing, and chairs make watching the views and reading very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Mendocino.

“Beautiful property”

We stayed two nights at the Agate Cove Inn. It is off season so hardly anybody around. The owners are upgrading their dining area and extending it with huge windows and then extending their roof to create upstairs seating with more unabstructed views of the ocean!
