We booked five rooms at the Stanford Inn to celebrate a 60th anniversary (no children - all adults). The location is spectacular. The service, particularly the front desk, aloof and cold. We received harassing phone calls about guests smoking at the Inn during our stay and were threatened with a $400.00 fee if the Inn found a cigarette butt near or around our room whether we are responsible or not! Big money, but it delivers - awesome view, friendly staff (ask them for just anything!), amazing location, lots of fun amenities, plus the essential (good coffee in the room). The breakfast is vegetarian, very satisfying, fun shopping in the lobby. I visited the glasshouse atrium jaccuzi, open 24hrs, for a middle of the night secret dip. more
