We booked a block at this hotel for our wedding which was a 5 minute drive away. The mall is 2 minutes away. University Dr/Ave. is about 2 minutes away(food, food and more food!) You're right off of the main road 'El Camino Real' so Target, Safeway, etc. are all within a few miles of each other. That covers the... more

We got a good deal online for our rooms--make no mistake, this is a very upscale hotel. Great service, lots of amenities, cleanliness and comfort . We had two small children in tow...the gardens gave us quiet space outside to relax. The pool and workout facilities were great. Food was good and the bar/restaurant are very nicely integrated. You'll love... more

Despite a rough start to our stay at this hotel, the staff, their service, the room and hotel property more than made up for it. The property itself from landscaping, decor, and furnishings were charming and elegant. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Despite its location adjacent to Caltrain, never heard a sound while inside the hotel or... more

From the moment we set foot in the lobby, I knew we had made the right choice of hotels. The lobby was more like someone's living room. There was a warmth from the fireplace and woodfloors. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had a yummy kingsized bed with a soft duvet and wonderful mattress. There was a mini... more

Beware of the hidden price increase: They charge 16,50 amenity fee per day, whatever for and whatever that is. This does not show in the booking confirmation. I, like all other people checking out, was absolutely unaware of this. For a week, it adds up to an enormous sum! I will boycott the hotel as long as they think that... more

Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us. I am sorry that the Amenity Fee was an inconvenience to you and that you were not better informed in advance. I am working to make sure this does not happen to future guests. Our goal is to provide a very good value to our customers, and our $15.00...

We arrived mid december and stayed 5 nights. Every time we walked in to the hotel we were greeted with a smile! Staff was excellent and the hotel was great. Good location, close to the stanford mall. Great pool, hot tub and fitness room. The hotel was impeccable and the rooms were large and comfortable. Cannot say enough good things... more

We have stayed in this hotel several times, visiting family in Palo Alto, and it never lets us down. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and always very helpful, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and very well appointed. The beds are particularly good! The bathrooms are clean, and there is an additional sink outside the main bathroom. Just a... more

Stayed at the Standford Park Hotel for a business conference. The staff are amazing. They did everything you needed, even anticipated what you needed before you asked for it. And always with a smile. Special requests were handled flawlessly by the Banquet Manager. Need to be Palo Alto? This is the place to stay! more

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel for two nights (October 25 and 26, 2008)and loved every minute of our time there. Our room was exquisitely decorated and overlooked the pool area. The grounds are beautifully decorated and the courtyard and pool area served as a refuge after a long day of sightseeing. One of the best things that... more

This year we came from Maui and before returning home to Europe we decided to stay 3 more days in this hotel as both my wife and spent a lot of time in the Palo Alto area and we both love the atmosphere. As a surprise for my wife I booked a room with a fireplace at a higher price... more
