Only stopped here for one night en route to San Francisco, the hotel was very modern and well maintained - everyone gets a free cookie on arrival ( american size cookie) , the pool area is spacious and pool is a decent size to swim. Bathrooms are lovely and there is a seperate dressing area outside the bathroom. Overall a... more

As much as I love Hilton family hotels (Gold member), they sometimes have a bizarre hankering for putting hotels in noisy train track locations, such as the Hampton Inn in Red Bluff and the Homewood Suites SFO North. This hotel is not only located across the street from train tracks, but at a site where the freight trains are legally... more

We stayed on a saturday night while traveling. I would stay again if in the area. I would not make this a destination but a good place to stop if you are tired. The hotel is downtown and there is a movie theater a block away with several restaurants and clubs within 2 blocks. The hotel has a good bar... more

I travel often for business and Doubletree is my least favorite chain because they are so inconsistant. That said, this place is very nice. So here is what I loved about this place: Excellent service from start to finish Very clean Comfortable beds- great bedding Decent size rooms Good room service meals Nice business center Here is what I didnt... more

Quick access off the highway to the hotel - just minutes. The room was clean, had a nice desk area with a good chair, a small couch with coffee table and most important was the bed was very comfortable. Hotel is located downtown. The only real issue with the hotel is that despite the comfortable bed, train tracks are only... more

As soon as we arrived to the hotel and went up to our room, it felt like something was baking in that room. If it was 90 degrees outside it was 100 in the room. Thinking that maybe it was because of the heat outside, i lowered the AC to the lowest it goes, 55 degrees and left for dinner.... more

The Doubletree isnt all its cracked up to be in Modesto. I was in town with a friend and we had the doorman valet park our car as we were in a rush and didnt want to have to WALK ACROSS THE STREET to a parking garage that was dimly lit in the middle of downtown Modesto (not the nicest... more

This Double Tree has one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The room I was in was a good size. The hotel staff was courteous. You have to park across the street in a garage. The hotel does validate the parking, but that doesn't seem necessary since I never saw anyone collecting money at... more

Location: The Double Tree is a convention hotel located in downtown Modesto. It has convenient and low cost parking structure located across the street, with a covered walk way. There are restaurants, bars and a Starbucks within walking distance. Service: My wife and I had a number of pieces of luggage, so I asked a hotel representative "who appeared to... more
