The Doubletree is the main downtown hotel in Modesto, a high-rise in the modern area of downtown. It is a fine, modern, well appointed hotel with very good rooms. This is a high-rise hotel in downtown Modesto, on highway 132, just a few blocks from Highway 99. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable, with scads of pillows. We stayed for a week following a Marian Conference at the hotel, and it was wonderful. Beautiful hotel and excellent services. Very good food and very nice eateries within one block of hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We loved our stay. The hotel staff were very gracious. more
