We arrived early morning on Thanksgiving to a warm welcome, large comfortable clean room and GREAT shower. Added bonus - fridge and microwave in room, Wifi and a very comfortable bed. The owners take good care of the property and we'll be back soon!! more

I travel to mojave very frequently and in general all the motels are old inside out. most of them are across the highway from the train track. Looks like allthe train business is done at night where the booms and bangs of connecting and disconnecting happens and some trains blow their horns (I think deliberately) around 2 to 3 am.... more

As we drove into Mojave, we passed other properties advertising lower prices. We knew from TripAdvisor that the train noise was an issue with them. The Desert Inn is a few blocks from the main drag, and we never heard a train. The most important aspect of a motel is getting a good night's sleep and the Desert Inn delivered.... more
