We stopped here for one night in Monterey. We used to stay here, but probably won't again. The price was good, clean room, but very uncomfortable bed. A "queen" was more like a double, lumpy mattress. Not a good night's sleep. more

The motel was not very big and had a crazy but very nice receptionist. It is situated on highway no. 1 and it is only a 5 minute drive to the monterey pier. The rooms were big and clean and everything worked out very well. We would recommend it for everyone! more

Lone Oak is along motel row on Fremont St., away from the center of Monterey but close enough to drive to within minutes. The motel provides good accommodations and comfortable beds in a large room.
