Just stayed at the La Quinta on a weekend trip on the coast and were pleasantly surprised. We checked around a few hotels in the area and found the price to be very resonable considering the hotel looked like it had been recently renovated. This La Quinta was perfect, brand newly remodelled, modern - just very nice. We felt really at home. The hallways are still a bit run down and the breakfast was quite basic but most important is the room and this was above average, very nicely decorated and clean. Would immediately come again and recommend it. more

This is a very good choice in the moderate-price range. The rooms are modern, attractive and quite large. Each has a sitting area next to its bay window. Bathrooms have marble countertops. I stayed in this hotel for one night in Mid September. Booked 2 non-smoking rooms. Upon check-in I'd have to agree with some of the previous reviewers - the place looks a little beat up and run down. One of the rooms had to be changed for another because it smelled like smoke. I also upgraded for the "lake-view" room.... more
