we recently stayed for our anniversary and they gave us a great room with full ocean view and brought us a bottle of wine a box of chocolates and a card the room was great and the staff was helpful and the hotel was very close to everything more

Great location and very nice room facing marina. Beautiful and spacious bathroom, although not the best ventilation in the toilet stall. Well designed and furnished room with DVD player and ample mirrors. Outdoor hallways not level and have water stains on carpet. Not inexpensive to stay here. The staff is very friendly and full of information about Monterey. The rooms are nice and the balconey is a great place to have your morning coffee and look @ the Bay. The beds are great . We are walker's and everything is close. The breakfast that is delievered to your room is a nice touch and it's very good.... more

My husband and I spent 3 nice days in Monterey, we chose this hotel for it's convenience to The Aquarium and The Wharf. I know the majority of people don't spend a lot of time in there rooms, but we do. For what we paid for our room we expected a much newer TV and to have a better program... more

We really enjoyed our weekday stay. The view was awesome looking out over the bay! The wireless internet cost 10.00 and the parking cost 13.00 per night for each so add that to the cost of the room. Our room had the perfect view over the ocean. We sat on the balcony sipping cocktails while watching sea lions and sea otters play in the ocean what seemed like right outside our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful...the room was clean and very nice. Would highly recommend this place. more
