“Friendly check in, but dingy room”

I was in Monterey/Carmel for a wedding. The desk person was kind. She noticed I was on crutches so changed our room from the 2nd floor to the 1st. I appreciated that. That's where the good stuff ends. The room had a strange odor. The toilet seat was poorly reglazed, so that it was discolored and had weird texture to... More

We spend the night here me and my husband. First time we have stayed at Monterey. We were happy with the service we received. Breakfast was decent they had bagels,toast,cereal, orange juice and coffee. Will come back again to stay soon
