Stayed here for one night this weekend. Great location in town. Literally steps from everything, which was really convienient. We were allowed to check in early. Bedding was old, so we just used the sheets. Remote for TV didnt work. Bathroom was a little dirty looking. I wouldn't walk around in my bare feet that's for sure! Sheets kept slipping... more

I stayed in January of this year and booked a room online through Alliance Reservations Network (ARN). We arrived late only to find we had to wait a half an hour (no joke) for someone to come to the front door to receive our keys. Upon entering the room I smelled a weird musk smell and all of the windows... more

This hotel is old and tired. The room was clean but the everything (funiture, bed linens) was old. Spend the extra few bucks for a nicer place. Location was great so find another hotel nearby. Maybe the Ascot Suites across the street. We were wondering where the room pictured on the website was located. And plan to purchase breakfast elsewhere. more

Appearances are deceiving. Looks like a nice cozy Inn however it lacks many things. The room had an odd smell so we needed to air it out for awhile when we arrived. The bed was horrible! They didn’t even use fitted sheets so when I woke in the middle of the night (achy) the flat sheet was pulled down and... more

My fiance and I stayed at the Sea Air Inn in July '08. We paid over $150 for one night. At the time they were doing construction to the back of the motel where our room was located. It was very loud and obnoxious. The walls were extremely thin, and could hear the people next to us, and above us.... more

This hotel, motel might be a better word. Was cheap but clean. It is very old and could use some renovations. The bathroom does have the complimentary bath products, only lacks a hairdryer. The bed was comfortable. The lobby, was not smelling too good, it had a very intense curry smell hanging around. The frond door guy was friendly, but... more

5 May 2008 | Trip type: Business, Couples

We booked the Sea Air Inn in September 2007 for three nights for business purposes, so we relied on the list of amenities on the internet. When we got there we found very few, if any, of the amenities that were listed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. After one night we told the manager... more

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Only a two block walk to the downtown shopping/restauants. This hotel no hair dryers (very unusual these days). OK for the price. more

I booked this hotel through Orbitz, but when I arrived they refused to honor my reservation as written. They insisted on giving me a room with one bed, even though I had booked two. The woman at the front desk was one of the rudest human beings I have ever encountered. Despite the fact I had my confirmation in hand,... more

Morro Bay has very few nice hotels. The Ascot Inn is one of them (the other is the Moro Bay Inn). Problems are a noisy location, small rooms, high rates, and very small suites. Morro Rock is visible through a sea of wires. Better to stay in San Luis Obispo. more
