This resort far exceeded expectations. The lakeside chalet we stayed in was comfortable, and SO CLEAN. I felt very much at home. The staff was helpful. The food at the restaurant was decent. They were very good about making meals vegan for us. (sidenote for veg travellers: Berryvale grocery store in Mt Shasta city had a deli with lots of... More

We stayed there this past week and were very happy with it. We signed up for their email club and ended up paying half price for the third day and getting the fourth day free. The woodland room was very spacious and clean, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The only thing I would change would be to add curtains... More

We loved our two-night stay at one of the lake-view chalets which are part of the Mt. Shasta Resort properties. The chalets are well appointed and well equipped. Although we didn't cook meals, we did use the fridge and made our own lunches to go. The chalet is roomy, and we enjoyed watching the dvd's we brought along. Note: as... More

We stayed in the Woodland Room at this Resort. It was soooo cozy and wonderful. We would highly recommend it and the spa was great also. My boyfriend received his first massage and absolutely loved it. Thank you!!

At 8:30 pm my work-weary husband and I decided to set aside our wine glasses and draw a steamy jacuzzi. The faucets on the jacuzzi did not work. So we removed our robes and re-clothed ourselves and called the front desk who promptly sent a maintenance man over. He adjusted the faucets and advised us to be very gentle with... More

What a gorgeous view! Mount Shasta Resort is really one of a kind. With a giant isolated double peak mountain in the distance and a beautiful lodge and dining area, MSR is one of a kind. The natural beauty of this place is spectacular, no doubt, but having a nice place to come back to really ties it all together.... More

My family and I stayed in the Woodland room, which is a hotel like room. They are located in rooms of 3's, and have private entrances to each of them. The room (for a hotel like room) not a condo, was surprisingly spacious. At 500 sq ft, the two queen beds had ample room at the end of them as... More

Decided to take a quick trip here from south of the Redding area to celebrate our anniversary. We rented the one-bedroom lakeview chalet. I booked this room online (which is cheaper than calling direct) and was not required to pay in full up front. We had a 50% deposit and paid the remaining at the time of check-in. We had... More

My husband and I stayed at the Mt Shasta Resort recently, booking a 2-bedroom lakeside chalet for two nights. When booking we had to pre-pay the entire cost of our stay, which seemed a bit strange to me, especially with a very inflexible cancellation policy. When we checked in we were directed to our chalet, more than a mile down... More

We stayed in Mt Shasta Resort in October 2012. We were delighted by our chalet. It is extremely spacious (almost the size of our house), well equipped kitchen, and is located among the trees. We even had a view of the Siskiyou Lake from our deck. I am rating this as a 4 star only due to the rest of... More
