Overall, Oakwood Mission Valley is a nice place to stay. It is not extravagant or luxurious like you may be led to believe by reading the description given on their website, but it is comfortable and it did cost much less than a hotel with comparable amenities. Oakwood Mission Valley offers long-term stay prices as well as nightly rates for furnished or unfurnished apartments. The property looks very nice from the outside, as well as in the foyer. Upon entering the property, we were greeted by a friendly staff and offered a free refreshment. There is also complimentary self-serve coffee offered from the morning until evening hours. After working out a few problems that occurred with the pricing of our apartment, we were made three new keys to open the front door of our apartment, keys to gain access to the indoor corridors of the property, a mailbox key, and an electronic card to allow us to enter the underground parking garage.
