If a firm matress is important to you, then stay away from this place. If you're OK sleeping on a marshmallow, then this place is great value for the money. Breakfast was great and the room was quiet, even though it's positioned right next to the freeway. more

Please, read the reviews before you book this hotel. I was traveling alone and became very concerned when it seemed I was the only person staying there. It is across from a seedy neighborhood. The hotel is old, and the rooms smell. The air conditioner sounds like a jet engine. The food consisted of stale bread, packaged rolls, luke warm... more

Okay, this place is a bit outdated but its clean and the service is great. Breakfast was more than I expected - Hot Food! They just need to get new bed spreads, curtains and pictures and that would do a world of good. I always bring my own blanket and when I put it on the bed it really refreshed... more

Stayed here for one night on business. The room and the entire hotel were old and disgusting. Due to the smell in the room, I was unable to sleep. I had planned to stay three nights. When attempted to leave the next day, they charged me for a second night saying that I hadn't given enough advance notice. Unbelievable. Do... more

After reading the previous reviews on Trip Advisor, I was really worried about my stay in the County Inn. My boyfriend was attending a 4 day conference conference at the NASA AMES center, and I was traveling with him before vacationing in San Francisco. We wanted an inexpensive place to stay within walking distance, and the County Inn happened to... more

- Telephone system doesn't work very well. Can't even get a clear call between the rooms. - Breakfast: Avoid it like a plague! The bread stunk, the juice smells odd, the water for tea tepid! - Location: Excellent, close to the freeway. - Decor: Haven't been updated since 1970s. - Internet access: Free wired Internet access. - Staff: Incompetent! Can't... more

In a word, County Inn is dingy. It's an outdated, shabby motel-type place. My family stayed here for 3 nights, unfortunately, because we booked through Priceline. We probably won't use Priceline again because of it. For the Priceline rating, we expected something close to a Marriot or even a Holiday Inn. But County Inn is equivalent to a Days Inn,... more

I stayed here recently. I was horrified when Priceline stuck me with this motel. For the rating, I was expecting something along the lines of Courtyard by Marriott. This place is basically an old two-story motel with exterior room entrances facing the parking lot. It didn't look promising from outside, but the room itself was clean and well-maintained for the... more

Since we purchased through Priceline we were locked into staying at the hotel. Rooms have a grimy feel to them. Everything was old and outdated. Hairdryer was an antique and smelled like something was burning when turned on. The front desk help (3 out of 4 workers) were a big disappointment. Customer service and satisfaction is not high on their... more

I stay at the County Inn everytime I am in the area. It is my favorite place to stay. It is a lovely quite little hotel conveniently located near restaurants and shopping and easy access to the freeway. The people there are great and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. They have a hot breakfast every morning and... more
