We stayed at the Inn on Randolph as part of a two week trip around California, and chose it given its location around the corner from a friend we were going to meet. It is a Victorian building in a quiet street quite close to the centre of Napa. Deborah the owner was friendly and welcoming, and our room was... more
Deborah was the perfect host, wedding planner, and cook, as well as her many other tasks at the Inn. From the moment she responded to my inquiry about having a wedding at her Inn, the rest was completely taken care of by her. While it was just two of us coming to Napa for some good wines, good food and... more
We loved our stay at Deborah's location, only blocks from downtown. She gave us great tips, provided delicious, plentiful breakfasts, and offered very cozy accommodations. We saved time to sit on the beautiful private patios and enjoyed the ambient surroundings with lovely gardens. She was charming but never overdid it--everything felt just right. THe price was also very reasonable; we... more
My husband and I spent three nights at the Inn on Randolph for our second wedding anniversary. This B&B was everything we could have hoped for and more! The house itself is gorgeous. Deborah (the owner) has done a wonderful job with renovating this charming Victorian. We stayed in the Library Room, which is one of the cottages off the... more
My wife and I had almost given up on B&B's due to the frilly Victorian decor which wasn't our cup o' tea. But the Inn on Randolph was a breath of fresh air. With richly saturated colors and rustic yet well-coordinated decorations, it feels warm, like a home away from home. It is a 5-minute walk from the river, shopping,... more
We selected this Inn out of about 25 possiblitlies. We liked that it had 5 rooms in the main house, as well as 5 cottages that were very private, roomy and well docorated unlike some of those frilly B&B's. We rented all 10 rooms/cottages so we would be the only ones there and it was perfect. The courtyard was wonderful... more
The front hall is like entering into the Twilight Zone, with dull lighting, dust-covered light fixtures and cobwebs hanging off the doorframes and lights. It has potential to be beautiful, with great location, good sized rooms and pretty gardens, but the interior is very disappointing. The place is dingy and in desperate need of a good cleaning and a paint... more
The Inn on Randolph is our favorite place to stay when visiting Napa Valley. Deborah is a gracious host and provides a simple, delicious home made breakfast to start the day, which will rev you up, but not put you in a coma. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, but not over the top expensive, so you can spend more... more
My husband and I stayed here while we were on vacaion. We were expecting more for the price we were charged. There should have been some wine and cheese or something in the afternoon. And breakfast was just o.k. They only had Lipton tea for breakfast, and being tea drinkers we were disappointed. The innkeeper didn't seem so helpful to... more
