Close to Freeway , next to shopping center, Swimming pool, hot spa was nice. I came with my son he was disappointed that he was not able to play his xbox on the t.v. usually we go to motel 6 but we got a deal that was close to the same price as motel 6. Bigger room , Nice view... more

I have zero complaints about the hotel experience itself. Excellent prices, clean, comfortable rooms. Nice enough staff. But I had a huge load of trouble when I checked out half of my rooms and kept the other half for an extra night. Didn't try the food or the pool. But the business center is great and the rooms are very... more

This courtyard is your run of the mill Marriott Courtyard. Nothing too fancy but a nice hotel. I've stayed here on 4 different occasions and was always greeted well upon check-in. The rooms are always clean and housekeeping is always diligent about request(towels, bath items, playpen). The price is always fair at around $80/night for the king. $10 more for the double... more

I read a few of the reviews but decided to reserve a room here anyway.. $80 for a room on the edge of Silcon Valley, and close the San Fran and it's attractions.. My wife and I got here and the assistant manager checked us in, He was proffession, friendly, and let us know about the different services, including the... more

We arrived to find a nice hotel and a mostly friendly staff. Admittedly after trying to check in and having a few questions I felt sorry for the young woman behind the counter. She was obviously from a different hotel (maybe the one next door??) just filling in. One of our main concerns was that we needed fridge. We asked... more

I stayed at this hotel for two stints of two days in September. First time was with my friend, and we asked if a double was possible...the man at the front desk seemed resistant and was making excuses, but lucky us, we got a nice double on the sixth floor...very quiet, and including a fridge! This helped me to overlook... more

This is one of my consistent stays in the Bay area because of the value and the outstanding customer service. The Double Queen rooms are very spacious for Courtyard locations, but room sound insulation is a little weak. Food variety in the area is great consisting of three supermarkets (One oriental) and multiple restaurants around across multiple tastes, all within... more

Unusual for a Courtyard by Marriott, slightly upscale. Still a Courtyard at its heart, with familiar rooms: ac/heating units in room, standard Courtyard livery, standard Courtyard breakfast. Hank wrote an excellent review, and I agree with everything he said, so I'll just add one thing: the night I checked in was also the night of an arrival of a tour... more

July 6, 2005 - This was my 3rd stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Newark, California. It is officially called “Courtyard Newark Silicon Valley.” I have returned, so I obviously like this hotel. The hotel is located right off the Dumbarton Bridge (SR-84) at Newark Blvd, about a mile West of I880. The location makes it pretty convenient to get... more
