A superb B&B 10 miles from Yosemite South entrance. Josie and Jenine were very hospitable and couldn't do enough to help us. We stayed in the Country Rose room and had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. The private balcony was lovely and the hot-tub was excellant after a days hiking in Yosemite! We loved all the little touches around... more

This place is perfect. It is about 5 minutes to town with Markets and places to eat. Be warned that most places on the other side of the mountain do close early so it was better to stay near town (Oakhurst) which had a market, drug store, and a few places to eat. We stayed at the Christmas rose, which... more

Great B&B, Josie and Jenine are really friendly. We stayed in the Wild Rose room , some describe it here as small but it's not! It's just a normal sized room with a large bathroom. I would stay there again definetly. more

We booked our Saturday stay just two weeks ahead during the areas peak tourist season. We were delighted they found a place for us. Our room was comfortable with pretty cedar paneling and a wonderful comfy bed. The bathroom was spacious with a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was great! We especially liked Smoky, Hercules and Minnie - the resident pets.... more

We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful B&B and were really sad, when we had to leave again! The room was great, so spacious and clean and we loved the breakfast! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The best part in this B&B are the animals! If you love animals and don't mind a cat visiting you in your... more

We stayed at this bed and breakfast when snow was still on the ground. It was such a beautiful location and the blanket of snow made for some great photos of our vacation. The owners of this bed and breakfast made us really feel at home. My favorite part was the bottomless cookie jar with a cup of fresh brewed... more

We stayed in the country rose room. It was very small with a large bathroom. There was a small electric heater which took a long time to work, I was so cold i needed to go to bed with my clothes on. The inn keepers tried were hard and gave information on hiking and restaurants The breakfast was ample. However... more

We stayed the 24th/25th of December in the Christmas Room and couldn't have had a more perfect holiday. The proprietor's made us and feel very welcome and at home. We loved our room with the deck and private entrance. All the comforts were provided for. Comfortable bed, fire wood and starter for the wood burning stove, a big jacuzzi tub and double sink... more

1. request more pictures of the Wild Rose Room before you book it. It's tiny... Also know that it's door opens practically right out onto the breakfast table so I doubt there's much hope of sleeping in. 2. Be sure to show up exactly on the time you specify and not any earlier or you will be scolded by the... more

The Wild Rose room is not a such a small room. In fact it is 13 ft by 12 ft. The bath is 8 ft by 7 ft, not including the toilet area. It is the least expensive room we have. This is mainly because the door opens to the dining area. There is usually no one in that area...

My husband and I recently stayed at A Bed of Roses B & B for a few days before Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time there. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone, as we stay there whenever we're planning to spend time in Yosemite, Bass Lake, or just want to get away to relax and look... more
