My wife and three kids (2 teenagers) were half way through our three and a half week touring holiday to the West Coast staying in six different hotels. I booked this hotel for two nights near Yosemite via Expedia. After checking on Expedia I believed I had booked either adjoining rooms or two bedrooms containing two beds in each as... more

This hotel is not bad, clean, big rooms and beds. Anyway, it has been the most expensive hotel in my 18 days spent in the US ... but i think that's the standard in oakhurst, so the other hotels around there won't be better. more

We stayed for two nights while visiting Yosemite. At the last minute, we booked a second room for my brother and his wife (from Los Angeles). The review summarises our consensus. Situated at the southern boundary of Oakhurst, the hotel is ideal for such a stopover. Check-in was friendly and informal. We were given adjoining rooms on the ground floor... more

Let me start with the Pros - not a lot here but the room was clean and the air conditioner really worked well since outside was 100 degrees. Now let's start with the bad: - Way to Pricey but what do you expect near Yosemite Park - Shower stall sqeeked very load when you moved in it. Felt like the... more

We decided at the last minute to take a side trip to Yosemite N.P. on the way to Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, we didn't make reservations ahead of time and so this was the only place available. Honestly, I've stayed in worse, but it definitely wasn't great. It's an older property and could use an update, but there was a bed... more

The hotel was completely fine for spending the night. Hopefully you don't go to Yosemite for the hotels, but rather just to sleep after a long day of exploring. Clean, comfortable and cheap. What more could you ask for? more

Unfortunately it was the only hotel in the area with rooms available...from the outside it looks clean and like a nice hotel. The bed was literally like a rock, the threshold was off of the door completely other then one screw (trip hazard) the couch you literally sank in, it was old and in bad condition. The coffee pot still... more

This place is dirty, overpriced, and dirty. Dryer was broken, microwave was broken, the strip holding down the carpet to the bathroom was half off, the tv reception was bad and the room was just dirty, windows, floors, tables. And this was a suit!!!! The room above us had a Jacuzzi and when they ran the water it sounded like... more

We had to unexpectedly spend two nights in Oakhurst due to road closures to Yosemite and ended up staying at this hotel. All other hotels in the town were fully booked. From the outside it looks a bit worse for wear, but the receptionist was friendly enough and the room was huge and had a fridge. It was clean enough,... more

last minute booking - now realise why this hotel was not booked up. Really expensive for awful rooms. We had a group of boys on a 'spring break' making noise till 4am. "Breakfast" was served in polystyrene cups in a soulless room. Camp under the stars with the bears DON'T STAY HERE. more
