Our second trip to Northern California had to include Sonoma County and the Occidental Hotel. The setting was great and over-all stay very comfortable. Occidental itself is a tiny but very nice village to stay. We can recommend the Occidental Hotel. We had a very spacious room with 2 queens at reasonable price. Opposite the hotel is a very nice restaurant/bakery for having breakfast or lunch. For dinner you can walk to one of the (3?) restaurants in the village. A very peaceful place! more
