My only complaint was lack of internet signal in my room. WiFi signal was intermittent in my 1st floor room and another room I checked on the 2nd floor. It did work in the lobby and there was a ''lobby'' computer available there for public use. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, bagels, biscuits, and waffles. more

Good Hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Quiet, and didn’t have that “hotely smell”. My wife & I were driving from San Diego back to Northern California, and stopped in Oceanside to visit the grand kids. High speed internet connection worked fine. A goof place to stay for a night or two. more

Not much to add to reviews already given as to the pros of staying here. This property was extremely clean and quiet during our stay. We booked two rooms so that my wife's sister visiting from out of state could stay in her own room. Although there has been quite a bit of concern written about the "Gentlemen's Club" next... more

The front desk staff was always nice and helpful even printing out directions to a nearby location for us. Check-in and check out was very easy and both were quick. We stayed in the Master Suite which was nice, but not worth $400.00 a night. The online photots of the master suite make the suite look about 4x bigger than... more

We were doing a week's drive around San Diego County, and stopped here for a night's stay. There were several other motels around but they looked a bit rough and ready, especially the one immediately next to La Quinta. We found the reception to be very helpful and efficient, and the room we were given was lovely - spotlessly clean... more

The picture on the Internet shows the ocean directly behind the hotel. Don't let this fool you. In reality this property is sandwiched between a gentlemen's club and a run down motel next door. To the rear is not the ocean but a trailer park. They must have taken the photo from the space shuttle since there is no other... more

Hotel was ok but next door to "Gentleman's" club on one side and a seedy motel on the other--not the best view outside my window. I did not feel safe walking at night. Beds were comfortable. more

Excellent, spotlessly clean and quiet hotel! I have not stayed in a LaQuinta for about 20 years, and I was very impressed. The rooms were much nicer than I recalled and impeccably clean. Comfy beds, quiet, free internet access and an adequate continental breakfast - what more could one want? more

We are local residents who needed a few night's stay away from home due to remodeling. We have a cat, so needed pet friendly accommodations. We also wanted to do as little eating out as possible, wanting to be able to fix most meals in the room. After checking into several motels in the area, we quickly found that pets... more

New, clean, quiet, decent breakfast. BUT, you can get nearly the same thing all around for almost half the price. No pool, no computer for email. Staff was great. The pillow top beds were fabulous. I had two kids and we enjoyed our stay for four nights. The hotels on the same block are nearly half the price and just... more
