I stayed at the hotel and loved the room but after eating at the Point Reyes Station House café where their chef makes these unbelievably tasty dishes like their oyster stew the Olema Inn fails in their kitchen cuisine. If they stole the Station House chef the new Olema Inn would be a perfect place except you wouldn't want to... More

Was the destination of choice on my honeymoon. Nice, clean, good food. Country style and quiet just the way I like it....slow down enjoy the area between Petaluma and Stinson Beach.....a great place to unwind.

I just ate dinner at The New Olema Inn. Margaret Grade and Daniel DeLong purchased The Olema Inn after their restaurant burned years ago. This food is out of this world and worth every penny they charge and more. Each dish was delicious. The service was unparalelled. I happen to love how each night's menu is written: Crab Plucked From... More

I love this place. Did it sell recently? I drove by and the sign was gone! When I was there for wedding anniversaries, the food was excellent, the beds were comfortable and the service was superb! We didn't want to drive home. It was the coziest B & B we ever stayed in.

Having stayed in San Francisco for business all week, I wanted to take a break from the city during the weekend. I did not know the place and relied on Tripadvisor. All in all, I would definitely recommend it. There are 6 rooms at the Inn - but I stayed at the bed and breakfast, which is run by the... More

Likes: large portions and good selection of breakfast items from restaurant menu, quiet, convenient location off Sir Francis Drake, en route to beaches, oyster farms, hiking trails Dislikes: many! auxiliary place up the hill was run-down, dirty and abandoned-large piles of bird droppings outside the door, overgrown garden, screens, fences, lights, and gates falling apart, smelly linens, stained towels, stained... My husband surprised me with a night here last weekend. It's cute but has seen better days. Our room was tiny and the loud exhaust fan from the kitchen below actually shook our floors! Not what you'd expect for $200 a night. The carpet was stained, lots of dust on the surfaces as if it hadn't had any visitors in... More

They paid their liquor license late so could not serve wine ... At New Year's. They called ahead to warn us to stop to get our own, which was considerate. Tho they knew we'd arrive in an hour our room was feezing cold. The central heat had a breaker problem. They gave us a small space heater and promised the... More

I have to say that Olema Inn made my 4th of July weekend. It came highly recommended from my boss, who has excellent taste. He had spent three nights here at the end of 2009, and once I heard that he stayed there, I didn't look anywhere else. Our first encouter with John the owner was Sat evening: My boyfriend... More

I think this used to be a good place but there was a change of ownership and the place is just riding on the reputation of the former management. ridiculously overpriced room for what we got - tacky decor, soiled carpet and the greatest indignity for $200/night, no hot water. i mentioned this the next morning and was told that...
