We are located next to 65,000 acres of unspoiled park land and wilderness, rife with wildlife and heart-stopping vistas. Grab a good book or your hiking boots, and come visit our outdoor family destination that will help you create wonderful lifelong memories. Obtain all your daily essentials at the local grocery or hardware store, located just two miles away in the town of Point Reyes Station. The hardware store carries sports equipment and some camping and RV supplies. There are interesting shops and restaurants in Olema and Point Reyes Station. Stop by the campground office and we will be glad to give you information on all the local businesses. Get your chance to see one of America's most beautiful landmarks when you visit the Golden Gate Bridge, which is just an hours drive down our scenic coastline. Just across the bridge is San Francisco. With the waterfront and Fisherman's Wharf, parks and museums, cruising on the bay, and lots of fine dining, everyone will find something to love in San Francisco. Also just an hours drive from the campground are the famous vineyards of Napa and Sonoma. Spend a day at the shops with friends when you visit Sonoma and Napa Valley. This area offers great places for fine dining as well as wine tours that you won't want to miss.

This is our favorite campsite We have always found the staff to be so friendly and helpful . The campsite and bathrooms are really well maintained and very clean. There is always hot water for showers .I really love how natural and esthetically pleasing the grounds are maintained. We have been using this campsite for 35 years and it has never been a disappointment I would thoroughly recommend it

We have stayed here 3-4 times. We love this campground. It's not fancy, but the sites are nice. It doesn't get too crazy and loud at night and it's just a peaceful place to be. Close to the ocean and Pt. Reyes Station. We live in Sacramento so it's a nice getaway when the weather gets hot!

Campground was so crowded and other parties were closer than we found comfortable. Some were nice and others were spewing offensive conversation we really didn't want to hear. The campground is big and flat and mostly open, so very little privacy. The fire rings are tiny--not big enough for a real campfire, in my opinion. The campsite hadn't been cleaned up before we arrived. There were charred pieces of paper plate strewn around and under a nearby tree was a wadded up tarp or blanket that looked to have been there forever. We had a three night reservation. Stayed one night and spent a lot of the next day finding a different option for nights 2 and 3. We will not be returning.

Would have been nice if we could have stayed in the "tent only" section, but were forced into the RV section since we have a small campervan. VERY rude staff. RV spots are terrible - very close together. Don't go here if you have a small campervan because they will make you stay in the RV section with giant RVs all around you with generators running.

My wife and I made reservations here and it was very easy to find. The campground is immaculate, well maintained and the price was reasonable. Our campsite is large and spacious with a picnic table and fire pit. However, there are no sewer connections at any of the sites near us, but they do offer a free dump station in the campground. In addition, there is no hot water in the showers. I tried it at 10 am, 1 pm and 4:30 pm and the water temperature was 82 degrees, which is Olympic swimming pool temperature, but terrible for showering. The maintenance man said that’s as good as it gets. I gave up cold showers in the Air Force and for the price of the campground, there should be ample hot water!

LOTS of RVs, sites are relatively close together without much separation but this is pretty much status quo for any large campground. There's a store, laundromat and post office on-site. We had a tent site (223) that was nestled toward the back near some trees and a creek and not far from the restroom. The restrooms had good lighting, multiple sinks with a shelf and hot showers. There were racoons and they're not shy. They actually came into our camp while we were sitting around the fire and those little buggers figured out how to open our cooler and swipe some of our food! The location is great as it's very close to Point Reyes National Seashore, though as others have mentioned, Point Reyes National Seashore is NOT dog-friendly with very limited trails/beaches that are open to dogs. The town of Olema has only a single café and restaurant but Point Reyes Station is only 2 miles North and they have many more stores and restaurants, as well as a market.

We can not tell you how much we enjoy Olema campground. Since this is year 18 we thought it would be wise to book for August 2023 so we did. The site is family friendly, RV friendly, new to camping friendly, and overall a great campsite not to far from home. Gabby, manager, and her staff are wonderful. The place is maintained good for a campsite. It's a short drive to the town of Point Reyes Station and the Lighthouse. We will definitely be returning as we have our sites booked for 2023!!!

This campground is very close to Point Reyes National Park which makes it a nice place to stay if you are visiting the area or on a vacation. Point Reyes (the town) is cute and expensive. I enjoyed shopping at Palace Market -- great cheese selection. The owners are also exceptionally nice and accomodating. We are full-timers who work, and wifi is necessary. It didn't work well at this spot. In fact, depending on which site we were in (we had to move a few times due to change in reservation), our ATT service for a hot spot wasn't good, either. The campground is a big hit with the Airstream crowd. Bottom line: Good for a vacation; not so much for full-timers.

Older campground, very well maintained. E, W, some with S. No generators allowed (yay!). Tents sites are lined around big meadows so kids can run around safely. While hookups are side by side, most sites are staggered so each are open space on one side. Campers know and happily abide by thr rules: no loud music, dogs well behaved, people are friendly and considerate. Only drawback is "store" is very limited. Have always enjoyed our stays.

There are essentially three tiers of RV park: RV Resorts, RV parks, and campgrounds that accommodate RV's. This park falls into the last category. The only thing going for it is that is has full hookups. The drive to get there from San Rafael was treacherous for a 58' rig and we should have been warned about it. The sites are grass and reasonably level with good utilities. However, there is no cable, wifi, or OTA channels, and limited cell service, meaning you need to know you will be off the grid the entire time you are staying there. The price is extreme considering the lack of amenities. I have paid half that amount for full amenities this place doesn't have. Overall, I cannot recommend this campground. If the price was half what they charge, maybe.
