My room in this motel was filthy. Every part of it...the floor, the furniture, curtains, beddings...it was gross!!! Unfortunately I paid the first night when I reserved it on line...and stupdily paid the balance without seeing the room. My companion and I decided to take a short trip over the Labor Day weekend. We came across the Howard Johnson Express Inn in one of the travel guides and called ahead for a reservation. When we arrived the "manager" was on duty. We requested a smoking room however the sign on the door to the room said "no smoking."... more

I booked the hotel online and when I arrived at 12am, they had the exact room I wanted. Also the rooms have new carpets, big TV, very very clean. Customer service is great, good place to stay and also good to avoid those expensive Disneyland hotels down the road. I would definately come here again. more
