Well just got home from a weekend at Borg's. It was our first and last time there. The room was very small, the bed terrible, the inside chairs wobbly and wornout. I can handle the small bathroom and room but a bed has to be comfortable. I would have felt better if we brought our sleeping bags and slept on... more

We have stayed at the Borg Inn for many years because of the view. However, the beds are so uncomfortable it is definitely not worth it!!!! My back is out since our stay there. It was a nice surprise to find that the "non-view" room that I booked still had great ocean views from our front door and back window. We paid $165 total with room overlooking Monterrey Bay, cheaper rooms are on other side of building. This motel is nice, slightly older property, clean. Price is really good, in a great neighborhood at Lovers Point, on a scenic drive. Room is big, bed is nice, sit outside your front door and watch ocean, otters, etc. more
