We're buying land in Desert Hot Springs so we wanted an inexpensive place to stay for a few days, something around $100 a night or less. The Quality Inn looked like it would meet the bill. Stayed at this hotel which has 3 wood stucco buildings; each 3 stories high. Room doors have 3 locks. Entrances to rooms from outside. Windows in rooms are single pane; you can hear plumbing noises, conversation between rooms, outside the room in the corridors. Price varies from 59.95 - 149.00 for same room. My partner and I choose this hotel over the one recommended by the convention we attend (The Palm Springs Spectacular) in spite of a higher rate due to the cleanliness of the facility, the helpfulness of the staff and the amenities of a restaurant really close. We stayed here for only one night - the hotel was clean and room was spacious. It is towards the end of town, but as most people drive, that is fine. I had a lovely swim in both the cold pool and spa. The fitness room was mostly not working - so not very impressed about that. Staff were friendly.... more

Stayed just one night here, but it was a good, clean room at a fair price. It's not a five star hotel, but neither is the price. The A/C was cold, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was clean. My only complaint was I could not figure out how to turn on the shower. It's a little quirky.... more
