Okay, we stayed at the Marquis Villas Resort for three days in July. The only reason we booked the room is because we had some extra days through our timeshare that we needed to book by the end of July or we would lose them. After booking the time, we read the reviews on tripadvisor... we were quite worried, but... more

I first stayed here in 2005 and then again last month, different rooms. There was a blatant difference in internal maintenance this time. The carpet was beat up and torn, three light bulbs burned out, and parts of the kitchen sink and shower were missing. That said, tho, dollars per square foot, it's the best bargain in town. It's spacious... more

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT! The rooms are in very poor condtion. The couch was ripped, the carpets were stained, the "double sized beds" are a litle bigger than a twin sized bed, and we found a very noticeable white stain on the comforter. (Which I took pictures of). I was told that every patio has a BBQ, which... more

Pros: o Huge suite - 2 levels, living room, 3 bathrooms! o Location - walking distance to "the strip" Cons: o Carpet needs replacement o Elevators and common areas need refreshing o Staff not well trained o Room has old appliances Bottom line: Not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it. more

Just returned from a week at this resort, which is a Timeshare resort that rents unbooked rooms. Unfortunately, at the end of my week there, the majority of rooms were rented by approximately 100 primarily underage young adults who spent their time there drinking, smoking and openly using drugs and foul language in public places. This forced me to either... more

My daughter arrived on a Friday morning around noon. We were fortunate. We were able to get a room immediately. Upon entering our room, we were impressed by it's huge space. A full kitchen, dining area, and living room space. It also had a large bedroom with two double beds, and a massive ensuite with two sinks, jetted tub and... more

Upon arrival we were able to secure a pool/mountain view room only if we waited for it to become available which did become after the 4pm check-in. Do not plan to check-in early, other people mentioned the same thing. Just get your swimwear and head to to pool to wait or walk the short 2 blocks to the main strip... more

I am staying at the Marquis Villas as I speak. Contrary to other reviews, the service was fine in my opinion. Yeah, its not a spectacular place, but for $150/night in Palm Springs, I'm not at all dissatisfied. I was in a room facing the parking lot and the very nice front desk person found me a poolside/mountain view room... more

We stayed at the Marquis Villas at Palm Springs between Christmas and New Years of 2007. We go to Palm Springs about once a year and had high hopes for this place as it appeared to have a lot of things going for it. Unfortunately the inept management and problems with the upkeep and maintenance of the facility make it... more
