The negative review is not permanent. We have enjoyed this hotel in the past but right now during their remodeling, the noise from the construction is horrible. We were tired and tried to sleep in....NO WAY! You also can't stay in your room during the day and enjoy it. I'd rather have a tooth filled than hear the drilling and... more

My husband and I stayed at the Garden Court Hotel for our 1 Year Anniversary in June 2009. Although they were busy with Stanford Commencement (100% Occupancy) we truly felt as though we were the only guests there! The level of service and attention to detail was impeccable. The little cookies and flowers in a bud vase they brought with... more

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and loved every minute of it. The staff was wonderful and helped out with every single detail needed to make our day as great as it was. They went above and beyond to make our day a special one. The banquet rooms were spacious and beautiful. The patio area & architecture... more

A perfectly nice hotel, small and unpretentious. Slightly surprised to see it described as luxury becuase that it certainly isn't. But its a good, relaxing place. Slightly surprised to hear the receptionist on the phone behind me offering a $600 room for $219 to a telephone caller as we paid $299 which in my view is excessive for the fairly... more

I had to unexpectedly pick up my teenaged niece at Stanford at 7 p.m. and we needed a place to stay that night. The Garden Court was a great refuge for us. When my niece walked in the room she sighed and said, "Ahh, home". Superb service and friendly faces everywhere. The room was soothing and very comfortable. We couldn't... more

Closing an academic year at Stanford is quite an achievement however, it can be stressful for everyone! We are delighted to have been your retreat during such a chaotic experience. We extend our congratulations to the student and the entire family - please visit us again.

We bring our clients here twice a year for semi annual meetings and would be hard pressed to find the same attention and accommodating service anywhere else in the area. Quite frankly, we've looked and you can't beat the service or location anywhere else in the University area. Our clients are a very discerning and demanding group. And, hhe Garden... more

I spent four wonderful days before and after my daughter's wedding there. I loved all the employees I met and the personal touch that comes with a boutique hotel. No matter what my request, somebody was there within seconds with a smile on their face {and that includes everyone I encountered.} It is delightful to be in the center of... more

A boutique hotel beyond the call of duty. From the top mangement down they are all friendly and always there immediately to help in any way. The rooms are a good size, tastefully decorated and most face a charming courtyard. I am there twice a month for a week.at a time and its like being at an exclusive mini resort. more

I stayed here for a business meeting, and my only expectations were those from the hotel web site. It said it was a luxury hotel, and seeing that it would fall into the 'boutique' category, I figured it was probably high end (and given the price tag, I would hope so). Overall, I would say it falls short of that... more

How wonderful it is to find a gem when you weren't even looking for treasure! The Garden Court Hotel is such a treat, from the time you check in to the time you sadly leave. As a world traveller, there are certain amenities I look for, and the Garden Court surpassed all of them! From the gardenia placed next to... more
