I needed a hotel near Burbank but could not afford Burbank and vicinity prices. Found Best Western Pasadena Royale and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I spent 4 nights at the Pasadena Royale with my daughter while she checked out colleges in the area. It is a no-frills hotel, but the room was clean and comfortable and the clerks were helpful. This hotel was an excellent value. When we arrived we thought the neighborhood might be loud but it was incredibly quiet at night. The suite is very spacious and works really well for families. We were on a road trip and we slept better here than at some of the fancier hotels. more

We checked in here after a night at the Sheraton Pasadena. The room here was larger, cleaner, much better maintained. This hotel exceeded the standard of the Sheraton, by far! I highly recommend it. The clerks and staff did a wonderful job. Sheraton could take a lesson! more

We booked a 2Q room with a rollaway bed for our family of 5 (3 teenage daughters). The room was rather small. We could barely fit the rollaway bed in the room.
