We were excited about having a large family gathering here and envisioned an upscale "mansion" given its location along Pebble Beach's 17mile drive and the price we paid. Boy, were we disappointed. The place has so much potential, but it felt like a home that had been neglected. The furniture looks like old second hand items from the 60's and 70's and the decor was "Dollar Tree" ish. The house did not feel very clean and several folks were waking up with bug bites and feeling itchy. The 2 "guest houses" in our opinion were uninhabitable and felt more like storage sheds with beds in them. Our entire party ended up staying in the main house. The backyard view of the water is beautiful, but there is essentially no landscaping, just grass with deer droppings scattered about . We were afraid to have the kids play in the back because there was no fence between the lawn and the steep rocky drop off to the water below. To top things off, the grill... more
