Just back from a weekend trip to Pebble Beach and Carmel. The Lodge at Pebble Beach, although a bit pricey, was worth every penny. We had a fantastic room in the Sloat building, overlooking the 18th green at Pebble. Enjoyed watching foursomes walking up 18 finishing their rounds of golf from our deck. The hotel staff was professional, very efficient... more

My husband and I stayed two nights at The Lodge at Pebble Beach and at >$1000/night this was the most expensive hotel room we have ever stayed in. So yes, we had an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the 18th green and Stillwater Cove that was really spectacular. We had a lot of fun one evening watching all of... more

Our family brought some out of town guests to Carmel and decided to go to the Lodge at Pebble Beach and have brunch at their restaurant. We were a group of 11 people. I was walking ahead of the group to talk to the hostess at the restaurant, as we had no reservations. The others in the group were just... more

I have stayed at the Lodge a number of times and as my numerous trips to modern hotel rooms across the country makes this hotel seem a bit old. A large majority of the staff is incredible and they have worked there for tons of years which make it that nice familiar face everytime you return. The environment is very... more

Fires in California forced us into changing our booking to this hotel at the last minute. We also had to book a suite as there was no other availability. This was to be a month of sheer indulgence after 34 years nose to the grindstone so we thought why not? Well I can now answer my own question. [1] Decor... more

I recently led an eight man golf trip to Half Moon Bay and the Lodge at Pebble Beach. As expected, our stay at The Lodge was almost surreal. If you are not a golf fan, you cannot fully appreciate staying at The Lodge and playing Pebble Beach. Not a religious person, I can only think it is analogous to a... more

Although our TA books our flights, we always make our own reservations for accomodations. We expected and paid for a room with an ocean view and received a sliver of water instead. It is a a bit dated and in need of refurbishing. It felt more like a stale country club or retirement home than a resort. more

We had a lovely time here ,very glad reservations persuaded us to go for the Pebble beach as much smaller lighter and more intimate than sister hotel Inn at Spanish bay. We were very spoilt we were upgraded to a sea view room and on my husbands Bday they sent over complimentary champagne. They could not have been nicer or... more

Pebble Beach is beautiful, we felt like we were in Walt Disney's dream world. My husband played the famed Pebble Beach Links course as well as Spanish Bay. He loved them both. You will never watch a match on TV the same way after seeing the course for yourself. I enjoyed the spa while he golfed. The spa is wonderful,... more

We felt honored to visit Pebble for my husband's 30th birthday in October. We stayed in the best room at the Lodge, the Point Lobos Suite, #104 in the Sloat building. Even at a pricetag of over $2200 per night, the splurge was worth every penny. What I loved: the fireplace, room service, the tipping policy, Stillwater restaurant, sunset at... more
