I chose this hotel over another even though it was $40 more. Big Mistake. The room was too small for the 2 queen beds. Only one person could walk down by the foot of the beds at a time; no room to pass one another. The hotel advertised a heated pool and free continental breakfast both on the internet and... more

We managed to negotiate a slightly lower rate as it wasnt busy at all, but still fairly overpriced - Its a fairly dreary looking place - that probably hasnt had too much attention over the years. The room was fairly clean, no air con. We did get wi-fi and there was watery coffee and small fairy cakes served on the... more

Frankly you're better off avoiding Pismo altogether... and there are better places to stay for the same rate. Whilst the staff were very nice, the rooms were so basic. When we walked in, the door to the bathroom had obviously come off, and they had just left it on the side for us! The decor is really outdated, and we... more

The Beachwalker Inn turned a great overnight getaway into a overpriced, no sleep weekend! We reserved a 2 bedroom "suite" for $299, however, upon arrival was charged an addiitonal $30 CASH ONLY for having a 4 person occupany. We could only have 1 car in the parking lot. Checkout time was 11am and there was mold on the shower walls.... more

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Pismo. Our room had a big comfy bed with a little kitchen. It was a great place and the staff was very nice and helpful. Very awesome price for the location it was the 4th hotel we went to and it was the best deal so we went with it and... more

Hotel was ok not great. Very dated and not the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. Central for town. Breakfast was included but was very very basic. We paid $75 per night so weren't too unhappy with the price. more

Our room was sufficient for our needs. Could have used a bathtub and hairdryer. We did have plenty of room, including a kitchenette, so the price was just right. The pool was also not available, due to maintenance. We never did see anyone working on it in the 3 days we were there. It's appearance was so inviting, especially to... more

It isn't the Hyatt but then the prices aren't either. Older motel, clean, slight musty odor if the room is closed up while at work, airs out well. Towels changed daily, linens once a week (i'm on a week to week basis). Vacuumed daily, Large rooms, nice bed, works for me. Ray more

The room was HOT, had no fan,and had an unpleasant odor. Upon checkout, I signed my authorization slip for the charges. When I received my credit card statement, they had tacked on an additional $100. The original slip had been "mis punched", but no one ever contacted me about the 'mistake'. I disputed the charge, but after hearing from the... more

Previous reviewers seemed overly critical. I read the reviews before I booked here and chose to anyway. This place was clean, the staff was friendly and the beds have very comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattresses. As Pismo is our favorite vacation destination, we loved the hotel's proximity to the beach, pier and terrific dining spots. Everything was in walking distance. If you... more
