We stayed here passing through Pismo Beach and found the hotel great. Nice quick check in, friendly staff and spacious clean rooms. The gym is not massive but useful and the pool looked pretty inviting too. It was also great they supplied a little shop in the foyer for snacks and knick knacks.

Hotel is quiet, food is standard Hilton Garden Inn variety. During my stay, the room heater broke, the treadmill broke, the pool lock wouldn't work, and there is no maintenance person around after 5pm to fix anything, so good luck (I was offered a blanket when the heater broke instead of another room.)

Love this location. Its just south of SLO @ Pismo Beach. However, there is plenty to do and eat near-by. The outlet stores are within walking distance as well. Avila Beach is just a couple miles north and SLO is 12 miles north. There is a Hampton Inn and an Embassy Suites in SLO but this Hotel is cheaper.

Very pretty location, easy access off of the freeway. This hotel needs fresh carpet and updating. If it's a quick overnight stay - fine. I wouldn't stay here for much more than that.
