My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Tides Motel several times in the last few years. The motel sits on the cliffs above the beach and you are given a key to the private gate that leads to the beach. That's one of the best perks of the place. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are the least expensive I could find in town, booking six months ahead for Labor Day. The motel is clean and well kept, just quite elderly. The place is old and the interiors need a facelift. The furniture doesn't match, and the carpet needs to be replaced. The bed is not... more

We were a group of 6 that were taking a motorcycle trip from Las Vegas, down to California, Arizona, back to Vegas.
