Hotel was nice, view was remarkable and breakfast was a great plus. We really enjoyed our stay. There were several children in the Hotel so it was not extremely quiet all day but it was really nice and peaceful. Great to sleep with the sound of the waves and cool air. more

Stayed one night. Carpet was wet. After showering at night Sewage was in the bath tub in the morning. When toilet was flushed upstairs sewage bubbled up into the tub. Management sent maintance man, Maintance Man tried to clean up problem and left the room. When management was called back they lied about problem and was arugumentive. more

This is a fantastic hotel. Location is the best thing about this hotel. The pier and boardwalk is right next to it. The beach sand is just steps from the hotel. Pismo main street is just a few blocks away. Theres some nice beach shops and restaurants. They have this clam chowder place that serves it in a bread bowl.... more

Typical beach hotel. Staff was nice, but no airconditioning. They did supply a fan, but didn't feel comfortable leaving the sliding glass doors open during the night since someone could easily climb up from street level. Nice little contintental breakfast. I stayed at the sandcasstle on April 21st, 2006 On my second night my children and I had come back from a nice evening on the beach. Our family of 4 stayed one night and enjoyed this Inn very much. The folks at the front desk were very nice, efficient, and helpful. This almost has a bed & breakfast feel to it.
