Right in the middle of Placerville, within easy walking distance of the restaurants and shops on main street. A short hop to whitewater rafting, hiking and historic gold rush sites. Highly recommended. more

Albert Shafsky House offered a peaceful and relaxful way for my husband and I to celebrate our 5th Anniversary. The entire house is welcoming with it's mission style decor and old charm. We were able to walk into the main area of Placerville and enjoy a fine dinner at a restaurant recommended by Rita, who arranged a reservation for us. This B&B is lovely, well maintained with a wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the Vineyard Room--spacious with a nice bath and comfortable bed. Lots of amenities and very welcoming hosts. more
