Unfortunately, there are not many choices for accommodations in Placerville, CA. It you are heading east on Route 50 towards Lake Tahoe and it is getting late....then you are stuck. Stayed here 3 times in 2005 because it was less expensive than other places in area and it was centrally located. First stay was nothing fancy, but ok. Succeeding stays were all downhill from there even though I told manager I have new grandchild in area and plan to come to Placerville monthly and would need a motel each time.... more

There has been an unforunate decline in this motel. It used to be family owned with a nice older couple that ran the place.
