This is your typical short stay business hotel. I stayed there for two nights and everything is as it should be. Clean rooms, very nice large screen flat panel high def TV. Restaurant for breakfast was decent but expensive ($10 for bowl of oatmeal and a coffee). The highlight is "The Club". It's a huge fitness club with multiple indoor... more

I have stayed here twice in the past two months to conduct a presentation. The facilities for business are poor and the catering management is low-level. Baked goods served in the morning and at breaks are of very low quality--they look like they took them from a Super 8 continental breakfast. Staff is generally inept, can't find FedEx packages, you... more

The hotel appears to have been renovated in the recent past. The bathroom was nice and the room was clean. The price was very good for the area but I may have gotten a good rate through my company. It is very close to the Interstate but the air conditioner took care of the noise even though my room faced... more

Stayed here for 2 consecutive weeks in Sept 2008 for work. The staff is great and professional. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Attached to a full-fledged gym / fitness center, which made working out easy. But rooms are pretty outdated. Be sure not to get a room facing the freeway. My one room was SUPER loud due to traffic...don't get a... more

I stayed for three nights on business during the second week of June. The hotel was nice and the staff was frinedly and moderately helpful. Rooms were clean but the iron in the room spouted water all over the place. Laundry service was fast. My only caveat is that the coffee bar in the lobby ran out every morning before... more

This hotel is just the opposite of what people are saying. I travel throughout the year. This is absolutely one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. The hotel was immaculate. The rooms were spotless and of good size. I had a first floor patio room with direct access to pool and jacuzzi (both immaculate) which also allowed... more

I was staying in Pleasanton on business for the week, and decided to go up a day early to drive around Napa and see a friend who lives in Dublin. Napa is beautiful, and it is about 40 minutes north of Pleasanton, and about 40 minutes east of Oakland. If you are going to see Napa, stay a bit closer... more

I came down with the flu and a high fever the morning I was scheduled to stay at the Pleasanton Hilton. Despite being sold out, when I called early that morning I was told that the hotel was going to enforce its cancellation policy of 24 hours notice and charge me the full amount of my room. Despite my protests... more

The Mrs. and I attended a wedding, then saw some cousins after. We booked at the Hilton in Pleasanton. Like name goes, it was a very pleasant area some 30 minutes East from Oakland Airport. The place had very little traffic and was a good jumping point to see sites in downtown San Francisco like the Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard St.,... more
