Stayed here after fleeing Sleepy Pines at the other end of town. We stayed in the newer section, which was immaculate with large bright rooms, good beds, showers and flat screen TVs. I had booked accommodation over the web. Had no problems with confirmation and booking on arrival...I'm not from the US. Not sure what the expectations of previous reviewers are but I had no problems with hosts.

I worried that I would hear highway noise, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. It was nicely located right in the center of town. The price was good and my room was clean and had everything I needed. I will go there again this summer.

Our room was filthy. The stand-up shower (no tub) dripped constantly as it would not shut off completely. The water built up and puddled on the bathroom floor; this was BEFORE we checked in. when i arrived at the motel, the owner had no record of my reservation. i told her the date that i made the reservation and the price that i was quoted. i had made the reservation based on that price. she said that price was not valid and would not honor it. she did not apologize or offer any explanation...
