I have stayed in many Travelodges with work over the years and i must say this one was very good, no its not the Hilton but you get what you pay for,i am not sure what some people expect when booking a travelodge! Clean rooms ,nice staff and a comfy bed, what more do you want for £20 a night!... More

My family of 5 stayed in this hotel for one night at the end of March. The room was very drab looking, with paint peeling off the walls etc. Think it could do with modernising! Staff seemed friendly enough when we spoke to them!

My previous stay in a different Travelodge was spoiled because there was no hot water in the morning. Without requesting it, Travelodge gave me a free voucher towards my next stay, in any of their hotels. We chose Barton Mills because we wanted to visit the area. We cannot speak too highly of Travelodge Barton Mills. The hotel is modern... More

This was our second travelodge stay after staying at Travelodge Liphook the night before. I can honestly say that this hotel is better than Liphook. We checked into our family room which was upstairs at the end of what looked to be a new extension. Our room was clean and of a good size, plenty of towels and generous portions... More

My colleague and I stayed here for one night whilst working in Suffolk. Terrible, horrible and disgusting place. Very unsavoury with cars jacked up on tyres in car park and guys parking up to use the area as a toilet in middle of afternoon. Horrible 'breakfast box'. No lift. Needed to put very flimsy plastic chair against door at night... More

I have stopped here for a number of weeks on business. Some of the rooms are good but others are very dated, tatty & smelly. The staff are friendly enough and helpful. The general cleanliness of the hotel is poor. The best part about the hotel is the location and this would be the only reason I may stop here... More

basic travelodge, excellent location, if you are driving, little chef on site with good food. no frillls. ipswich and bury st.edmunds are close by. highlight was rabbits running around on the grounds. decent stay, comfortable beds, shower, welcoming staff. thats it really. you get your money's worth. £29 for a family room is awesome!
