Competent check-in but all downhill from there. Only one of the two credit card 'keys' worked. The television remote had no battery cover and only worked (fitfully) if I held in the batteries while pushing the buttons. We were visiting Sacramento and Placerville so Rancho Cordova is a good midpoint. The pros of this place: location (right off Zinfindel exit), $69/night for Sat and Sun nights and breakfast included in rate. The cons: too close to the freeway and breakfast selection. Wingate hotel (Rancho Cordova, California) gave us a terrrible memory, which we could never forget due to its bad customer services. Wingate staff provided us a very poor customer service at front desk . When we spoke to the staff about wrong inputs and mistakes that they made, they tried to cover up for each other including the general manager.... more

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and were very pleased with the atmosphere. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and quick the meet all of our needs. We got an excellent rate and I think that the accomedations were better than I could have imagined. I would stay here again... more
