My credit card information was stolen and used at several different supermarkets in that area the same week I stayed there. That credit card has never seen the light of day and was only provided to this hotel's management to reserve the room- over the phone. The cottage was very nice and we were very comfortable with all that the cottage... more

What a warm welcome we received.!! A charming little place in the middle of nowhere it seems. The new owner Linda was sadly not there but everyone else was so kind and helpul that she can have time away and not have to worry. We had supper on the balcony which was most enjoyable. Our rooms were very clean and... more

We stayed just one night here in Randsburg partly to break our journey and partly due to interest in the area. Chose the B&B based on trip advisor reviews and couldn't have been happier. Our room was a lovely size, very comfortable with a nice private deck outside and the B&B itself is spacious with a nice sitting room. We... more

A bed 'n breakfast in Randsburg, CA? Yep - and a very nice one at that. One of the best parts: Pat, the host, is a Brit who provides incredibly fine service - as well as a "proper" pot of tea whenever one asks. Rooms were a little small, but typical for a B 'n B. Breakfast was great. Pat... more

Actually, we did not stay the night but we had an evening meal at this lovely hotel. Pat, the owner showed us how nice the rooms are decorated and gave us a general tour. She has nice sitting areas, provides an excellent breakfast. There is a separate 2 bedroom cottage that cost about the same price as just a room!... more

Having seen the very positive reviews of this hotel on tripadvisor and heard about it elsewhere, I booked to stay for a Sunday evening. It is just a wonderful little place, with delightful owners and a unique location. Pat and David have made this a charming and homey, totally unpretentious retreat which is perfect for its location in this living... more

It’s a very cozy and comfortable B&B in a tiny living ghost town, very different side of California – a definite must-see. Everyone you meet in the street (not many) greets you and says “Welcome to Randsburg”. Good gsm coverage and free wifi. Very good breakfast. We were the only guests but for the next night the hotel was fully... more

My mother and I live about six hours apart and try to meet somewhat in the middle for Mother's Day. This year, she asked to visit Randsburg, a tiny mining town located just off Hwy 395. We opted to stay in Randsburg at the only hotel--I believe the population is approximately 85, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a... more

Randsburg is a historic gold mining town south of Death Valley. I've been there many times in my Death Valley trips, and always thought the Cottage Hotel looked like an attractive place. This time, I finally decided to spend a night there. It was a few days before Christmas, and I had no reservation. I called the same afternoon; in... more
