Bridge Bay Resort is a lake resort mostly dealing with houseboat rentals and other water sports services. The motel on site is very old, and very basic. I remember this place being there when I was a child staying at another resort at Shasta. A good description of a room here is that it is like a basic one-room lake cabin, but is not a separate building. We had very noisy neighbors above us, but even if they had not been so noisy, we would have heard everything. The setting is beautiful, the people are friendly, and there is a decent restaurant on site. Upgrading this ancient facility may be too much to ask for. Next time, I will try to find a cabin at another resort for a night of go on into redding for a more robust hotel. more
