We stay at this hotel when we take trips from Seattle to Los Angeles as a mid-point rest stop in Redding. The hotel seems to be getting worse over years with each visit and is in need of an update. Cleanliness is questionable and it appears housekeeping is remiss in their responsiblities. One of our beds didn't even have sheets...only... more

Impressed.

I JUST stayed at the Red Lion hotel a couple days ago and was very impressed. We were in the back and was able to park my car right in front of our room. (my mom was worried about her car so this was a great highpoint for her) it was easy getting our bags into our room we just... more

We reserved a room at this hotel midweek as a rest spot for our road trip. I specifically called and asked for a double queen or two bed room. They said fine. When we arrived at the hotel at 9pm at night tired and weary, the hotel personel gave us a room with a SINGLE queen bed and said that... more

Just stayed for overnight while passing through. It is an older hotel, but was very clean and the rooms were large. The pool was very large and clean with great pool side services. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. On the downside there there was no microwave or refridgerator. But, I would recommend it. I would go... more

This hotel experience taught me that you can't rely on brand name for a good night's sleep. Other Red Lions where I have stayed have been lovely; this place was the pits. For starters, they charged me $150 for a room that the Hilton Express was selling for $99 (no wonder they were full!). They told me it was their... more

I've stayed here on three occasions, each an overnight while in transit north or south on the I-5. Every time has been the same, the room is adequate accomodations for an overnight but it needs something more for anything else. No refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms, so plan accordingly. The cafe is nice and has decent food at an... more

Everything was exactly what we wanted. Good service and a clean room. We picked this hotel because of its location. It is one of the many hotels along Hilltop dr that are perfect to stay at to catch the Kool April Nites cruise night. We just walked out of our room to the front of the hotel and there were... more

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had the room we requested. We needed a rollaway bed and it was there before we even got to your room. The room was fairly quiet and had a nice balcony. Everything was very clean. The bottom of my socks stayed white after walking on the carpet. The location... more
